Are returns pallets worth it?

A returns pallet is worth buying only when the landed cost still leaves room after unsellable units. ForthClear does not grade pallets and does not promise a recovery rate. The same pallet can hold new, opened, incomplete, and damaged units.

What makes a returns pallet different?

Customer returns have already been sold once. Overstock has not. A returns pallet is often mixed, and the useful share is unknown until someone counts it. If the seller did not attach a manifest, do not invent one.

Worth it is a cost question: the seller's price, shipping you agree with the seller, and the units you cannot resell. No page here can know that mix in advance.

How do you buy one on ForthClear?

When a listing has instant checkout and a shipping price, a buyer pays by card through Stripe for a quantity below that listing's quote threshold. A quantity at or above the threshold, or a listing the seller has not opened for instant checkout, uses a quote. The seller is the seller of record. ForthClear does not offer escrow or a mandatory inspection window, and it does not guarantee payment; each order record shows its status.

Customer returns pallets on this site list a lot only when the public catalog labels it as a return.

Questions

Does ForthClear guarantee the contents?
No. The seller describes the lot. ForthClear does not grade it and does not promise a resale profit.
Should I buy a pallet without a manifest?
Only if you are pricing it as mixed and uncounted. A manifest is useful when the seller actually attached one.
What does the buyer pay ForthClear?
Nothing. Buyers pay no ForthClear fee. The seller pays 5% of the item subtotal when an item sells.
