How to buy liquidation pallets

To buy a liquidation pallet, read the lot before you pay: what the seller says is in it, the condition, the quantity, and who arranges shipping. On ForthClear the seller is the seller of record. What should you check on the lot?

Ask whether the lot is manifested. A manifest is a list the seller attached. If there is no manifest, price the pallet as mixed and uncounted. ForthClear does not write a manifest the seller did not provide.

Separate customer returns from overstock. Returns have been in a shopper's hands. Overstock is unsold inventory. The condition on the lot is the seller's label, not a grade ForthClear assigned.
