How to resell overstock on Amazon and eBay

Reselling overstock on Amazon or eBay means splitting a wholesale lot into units those sites will accept. ForthClear sells the lot from the business that listed it. Amazon and eBay then charge their own selling fees, which you should read on their sites before you set a unit price.

What do you need before you list a unit?

Know the condition the liquidation seller stated, and whether the goods are new, opened, or incomplete. Amazon and eBay each publish condition and category rules. Start at https://sell.amazon.com/ and https://www.ebay.com/sellercenter rather than a copied fee table.

A brand can restrict who may sell its goods. A lot purchased on ForthClear does not grant an Amazon or eBay approval. If you cannot confirm the brand allows the listing, do not assume the unit will stay up.

How do you get the lot?

When a listing has instant checkout and a shipping price, a buyer pays by card through Stripe for a quantity below that listing's quote threshold. A quantity at or above the threshold, or a listing the seller has not opened for instant checkout, uses a quote. The seller is the seller of record. ForthClear does not offer escrow or a mandatory inspection window, and it does not guarantee payment; each order record shows its status.

Count the lot against the manifest if there is one. Units that do not match the listing are a seller issue on that order, not an automatic refund from ForthClear. ForthClear does not offer escrow.
